Kylie’s solo guitar set filled the venue with vibes straight out of the ‘90s and early 2000s, creating a wonderfully nostalgic and engaging atmosphere. Every song she played was a hit, resonating beautifully with everyone present.

Bio

Whether playing trombone in a band, singing songs she’s written, or performing a song she arranged for a wedding ceremony, Kylie Brown loves to entertain. She is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, and her musical taste includes many different styles such as: pop, rock, jazz, musical theater, R&B, folk, and classical music.  She plays piano, guitar, trombone, and flute and uses them all to create a soulful and peaceful ambience when performing solo jazz and contemporary music arrangements. Kylie got her start performing in Asheville, N.C. with her jazz ensemble, Kylie B. and the Birds. During her time in Asheville she had the pleasure of performing at many prolific venues such as the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium, Salvage Station, and Isis music hall. She has performed in weddings for over 15 years as a soloist and as a band member with award winning bands such as the Royal Suits and Restless Carolina, touring North Carolina for 7 years. Kylie recently moved from Asheville, NC to Ithaca NY and is hoping to develop her solo career as a songwriter, jazz musician, and contemporary music cover artist. Her set lists are eclectic and laid back, ranging from Ella Fitzgerald to Nirvana. She often employs a loop pedal so she can sing with piano and then solo over her songs with trombone or flute. Her aim is to not only make any event enjoyable, but to also make it memorable. No matter what role she plays, Kylie enjoys nothing more than to make the audience come alive.

Kylie brings such professionalism and musicianship to her performance. Such a talented multi-instrumentalist! Hire Kylie for your restaurant, event, or wedding and don’t look back.
